★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a good location in Yangon, this is the hotel. It will save you time being stuck in traffic compared to downtown hotels. It is more traditional in decor but it’s got a good vibe. I really like the pool - it’s kind of tropical lying there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A grand hotel! Staff are the most attentive I've ever experienced. In arrival presented with clean cool was cloth, complimentary juice. Porter for luggage. Room is immaculate with hardwood floors. Hot water dual shower; rain and handheld jet. Complimentary water as much as you want.
Quiet and central to sights.
They even knocked on our door tonight to offer fresh linens water, soap, etc..
Then they phoned our room to make sure we had everything we need!
The bed is slightly too firm for me, but the pillows are soft .
Has a big pool and garden, spa, restaurants and very helpful friendly staff.
Great value!
My only suggestion would be to add bedside reading lights so as to not disturb roommate when reading after bed time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel, perfect for a short break in Yangon. The pool was opened till late - great for a night swim under the stars. Rooms are very nice but the lighting is dim. Shower pressure is slightly low but the bathrooms are very spacious. Housekeeping were really on top of everything and did an amazing job. Nice views but it is also close to where they do rally driving (as I heard tyres screeching from midnight till about 3am, so they must have something of the sort very nearby which was very disruptive but this is not the hotel's fault)????
Would definitely stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've have not yet given a hotel a 5 star review but the Rose Garden Hotel came very close, in my opinion 4.5 star is appropriate. Highly recommend for these reasons; never have I experienced such genuinely attentive and caring staff. Each department making our stay most comfortable and at ease.
From the concierge to housekeeping hats off to you all for such a fabulous stay.
Outstanding assortment of choices from the breakfast buffet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful..nicely decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were in two rooms on different floors located at different parts of the building. This hotel is not far from a zoo. Our group staying in the other room could clearly hear the sound of an elephant but we heard nothing from our room. We didn't mind the sound though. Rooms are well kept. Minibar, facility, amenity..great..nothing to complain about. Breakfast choices were sufficient; Western and Asian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy and warm atmosphere like an old house. The corridor is cool and romantic atmosphere, dim light makes us feel calm and excited at the same time.
The lounges are somehow unique and fashioned in some way.
Swimming pool and garden is quite a innovative ideas. But now the entrance is like a bit scary and lonely than before. Seems empty from outside look and yes the barricades are blocking the entrance.
Maybe because of the Covid of Coup?
