★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok rooms for ok price. Don't know if you can find cheaper in town. Shared bath and toilet. Clean by Myanmar standards... Nice English spoken manager.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right outside the train station, seems to be the most popular with younger people. Ladys that run it are very nice. Rooms are dank and dark, but shoes off so clean inside. Cold water showers, maps available. Cost was 14000ks for double.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I received a friendly welcome when I walked here from the train-a short walk. The owner offered a map, marked the sites and a recommended restaurant and I was set for the day. My room, a twin out back, was comfortable and airy in the daytime. Walking to the sights left me hot but happy, though I'd recommend a bike, at least, if you want to head to temples and pagodas in both directions (left and right) from the hostel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Double bed fan room for 16000. Clean, towels provided. The room was at the first floor, while the toilet and shower downstairs. There was a small window letting in the noise from the street but almost no daylight as it was facing another wall maybe half a meter away.
The lady running the guesthouse was super nice and helpful - advising about the train/bus transport, and arranging a bus ticket for us, not to be overcharged by a travel agent. She has also schematic map for the main sightseeing points in Bago.
Also we were allowed to keep our bags there over the afternoon and have a shower before heading for the night bus.
Water for drinking and refill available.
Four stars...not really for the room itself, but for the owner to be so helpful and nice to us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was simple but clean. The lady was very kind and she let us to check in at 6am,and offers us fruit or snack at afternoon. She also organised our bus for the next destination. Due to the road front rooms are very noisy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 9500 for 1 person but with double bed fan. Room is fine. Bathroom and shower are downstairs. Lady who is manager is nice and speaks good English. If you're not picky it's fine to stay here. Fan is right over the bed so room stays cool. I just showed up (March 2017), without a reservation and it was no problem getting a room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The guesthouse is very close to the railwaystation and in the "center", but directly on the mainstreet, that you hear the vehicels resp. the hunks all the time. The room was big with balcony and clean. The bed was too soft for me. The private bathroom was okay with hot shower, but smelly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can rent bycicles for 3000k a day, but they are not the best.
