★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a bad choice for Burmese curry, plenty of condiments with your curry and a wide array of dishes to choose from. Many foreigners and a few locals, friendly and attentive service, very quick. Minor rumble in my stomach after dinner but hygiene seems fine overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ San Ma Tu is one of the good Burmese cuisine restaurants you should try when you are in Hpa An. It serves varieties of Burmese traditional cuisines and delicious local Karen traditional cuisines. All the cuisines prices are affordable. (each kind of curry with rice cost around 5000 Myanmar Kyats or $2.7USD. ) You have to buy one main dish and then you will be served at least 6 kind of side dish cuisines which are FOC. The available dishes are chicken curry and fried chicken,pork,prawn,fish etc,.
