★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place where you can enjoy the feeling of the traditional alike teashop. The wide range of foods and tea are offered. There is a parking space. The staffs are well-trained. The most ordered foods I think are Chicken Palata, Mutton soup with Nan-Pya and Fried rice with variety of curries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Famous teashop in town. The late owner was well known for his political activities. Nonetheless I think this is original Seit Tine Kya among all outlets. Tea is the best taste. Recommend for Nann, Burmese Fried Rice in the morning. Sometimes people may not like because of poor decoration and noisy crowded environment. But worth to try for foreigner at least once.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place serving very tasty tea (black tea with condensed milk topped by half and half milk) and delicious, homemade pastries. But a word of warning – this is not for everyone, especially when it comes to the level of comfort, though the venue is very atmospheric & lively. The teashop has two serving areas separated by a cemented wall, where the one in the west seemed to be the original place, and it is crowded from morning till late afternoon due to the proximity of a government high school across the street and unofficial vehicle buying and selling right on the spot, in addition to its longtime popularity.
Those who haven’t experienced what was like a typical teashop back in the early 80s should come and try, especially sitting and sipping a cup of tea inside the vintage building (the one on the right when facing the teashop).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lively, fun, old fashioned and many people are regulars, I love this place. The late owner U Aung used to sit and talk with customers. He used to point out customers who came regularly, and very high up who loved this place too.
It might sound strange but it's the UN-renovated, old look I really love and that holds the old energies and makes this place what it is.
