Though there is not much significance, this Buddha statute is usually crowded with local philgrams during tourist seasons. Locates just on the main road of Hinthada-Kyonepyaw-Yegyi. So, a good stop for a break!

The most famous pagodas in Hinthada are
U Par Ye Pagoda, Mayor Pagoda Tilawa is a reclining Buddha. The five-faced pagoda, headed by the first mayor of Myanaung, the first king of the corpse dynasty, had to be moved from the original site to the shoreline for fear of collapsing. It was built in 1815. The pagoda, which was said to have been built by Queen Bagan's mother in 1812, was also moved from its original location for fear of landslides.
