★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shwe Bone Yeik Monastery catered over 220 monks (most of them novices under age of 20), providing free education and monk trainings to them. The abbot is a disciplined monk who does not seek for fame nor in anyway that pushes the donors for money, he gave traditional and decent dhamma talks to donors when he was holding the merit sharing ceremony (asking donors not to get attached to big name banners of themselves but observe their body and mind's nature instead).
The kids there enjoy good health and conditions (no sign of exploitation or whatsoever that's negative, as to our observations after multiple visits).
