★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Going up the mountain by car is hard now but because of the road condition but sooner this road will be repaired to be a very good road but I think it is far better to visit and enjoy the Buddha images on the mountain walls which are historical by boat
enjoying the breeze and fresh air along the Ayerwady road. On top of the mountain is quite cool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Akaul Taung is the place where tax on the boat maechant of Ayayaewaddy were collected by the ancinent Kings Myanmar in 19th century. This Buddiha images are believed to be made bu these tax collectors. However, until now no accurate history records about thiese Buddiha ages are found.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You take short boat ride on the river and see some of the buddhas that are carved into the side of the hill. Then they let you off here and you climb a short zigzag path to the top to get a better view of the river. The pagoda is pretty small, and there's nothing really interesting going on at the top. The highlight (although it's not even that cool) is the boat ride.

Many Buddha images being carved into the cliffs wall along the Ayeyarwaddy river.You will get boat ride experience and hike up the steep hill. You can be see the beauty shade view of Ayeyatwaddy. How wonder place?
