La struttura di questa pagoda ha una base quadrata con molte terrazze che conducono alla parte superiore, che è una cupola cilindrica in cima, che è il santuario principale. The Soemingyu Pagoda is located near the Soemingyi Monastery. It was built by the elder queen or Lady Soemingyi during the twelfth century. The structure of this pagoda has a square base with many terraces leading to the upper part, which is a cylindrical dome at the top, which is the main sanctuary. To contain the weight of the structure, the sandstone blocks stop at each corner giving greater application. There are many enamelled plaques that describe the animals, flowers and lifestyle of the Bagan people.Now it is under renovation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soemingyi is a smaller pagoda hiding with a few smaller religious structures in beautiful surroundings. While not as impressive as its many larger Bagan rivals, this pagoda will give you time to relax and take unhurried pictures because the number of visitors is limited.
