★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Star Ferry promotion for april thingyan is awesome. You can get 2 ways ticket with one USD and explore evening of Yangon river and sunset. From 7AM to 7PM every 30 minutes, ferry boat leaves pansodan jetty for star city Thanlyin. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes for 1 way ride. It is recommended to take food and drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very convenient and fast way to get to Yangon from Star City and vice versa. However, the ticket price can still be adjusted for Star City residents and regular passengers.
You can enjoy a smooth ride. Staff are helpful.
But, you will have to wait for the rise of the tide sometimes as they will not operate when it's low due to the potential risks.
Seats are comfortable and the ferry is air-conditioned.
The additional bonus is that you do not need to pay any extra charges to take the shuttle buses from/to Jetty to/from Star City stops such as the Hangar, Yoma Bank, etc.
