မြစ်ဆုံဒေသဆိုသည် ကချင်ပြည်နယ်မြို့တော်၊ မြစ်ကြီးနားမြို့၏ မြောက်ဘက် (၂၈) မိုင်အကွာ တန်ဖဲရွာအနီးတွင် ဧရာဝတီမြစ်၏ မြစ်ဖျားခံရာ မေခနှင့် မလိခဟူသော မြစ်နှစ်သွယ်ဆုံသည့်ဒေသ ဖြစ်သည်။
မြစ်ဆုံသို့ မြစ်ကြီးနားမြို့မှ ကားဖြင့် ၁ နာရီခွဲခန့် သွားရောက်ရသည်။ မြစ်ဆုံရောက်ခါနီးတွင် မြစ်ဆုံဘက်မှ စီးဆင်းလာသော ရေပြင်ကြီးကို တွေ့ရှိနိုင်ပြီး မြစ်ဆုံရောက်လျှင် ရွာတစ်ခုကို အရင်ဖြတ် ကျော်သွားရသည်။ ထိုမှတဆင့် မြစ်ဆုံကြိုဆိုရေး ဆိုင်းဘုတ်ကို တွေ့ရပြီး ဗုဒ္ဓသာသနာ ငါးထောင်စံ စေတီတော်မြတ်ကြီး တစ်ဆူကို ဖူးတွေ့နိုင်သည်။ စေတီတော်ကြီးလွန်လျှင် မြစ်ဆုံအစ စားသောက်ဆိုင်များကို တွေ့ရပြီး ကချင်ချက် ထမင်းဟင်းများ၊ အကင်များရရှိနိုင်ပြီး အမှတ်တရ ကချင်တိုင်းရင်းသားရိုးရာ ဝတ်စုံများ ဓာတ်ပုံရိုက်ရန်အတွက် ငှားရမ်းနိုင်သည်။
မြစ်နှစ်ခုပေါင်းစုံရာ တစ်ဖက်ကမ်းတွင် စိမ်းစိုအုံ့မှိုင်းနေသော တောင်တန်းမြင့်မြင့်ကြီးတို့ကို တွေ့မြင်နိုင်သည်။ ဆောင်းရာသီဆိုလျှင် တောင်တန်းကြီးပတ်လည်တွင် မြူခိုးမြူငွေ့များ ရစ်ဆိုင်းနေပြီး သဘာဝငှက်တို့၏ အော်မြည်သံကိုလည်း ကြားနေရမှာဖြစ်သည်။
 Myitsone area
The Myitsone area is the capital of Kachin State. Near the village of Tan Phe, 28 miles north of Myitkyina, is the confluence of the Irrawaddy and Maykha and Malikha rivers.
It takes about an hour and a half by car from Myitkyina to Myitsone. Near Myitsone, you can see a large body of water flowing from the Myitsone side, and when you reach Myitsone, you have to cross a village first. From there you can see the Myitsone Welcome Sign and one of the five thousand Buddhist pagodas. Beyond the pagoda, you can see restaurants such as Myitsone. Steaks are available and can be rented for souvenir Kachin traditional costumes.
On the other side of the confluence of the two rivers, you can see the green mountains. In winter, haze lingers around the mountains and you can hear the chirping of birds.
