★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for water festival in Tamu area crossing Indian border Moreh. We enjoyed at a lot. It's like Holi in India. Water festival is their new year that is celebrated across couple of asian countries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's good place to visit if your entering Myanmar through Moreh Border to get the local feel of Myanmar. Most of the local people don't understand English or Hindi which may be difficult for few traveller. Local Auto will also for around INR 200 for dropping to Tamu Market from Border Check Post. You need to get the Border Pass on Myanmar side check post which seems to just formality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect little town in the nearest foreign country for an Indian to go and party, have as much beer as you want and do a little shopping. A day is enough as there is nothing much to offer for sight seeing except a few Buddhists temples.
