★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a pleasant stay at the Taunggyi Hotel. Rooms were recently renovated and clean. It was heated as well in the winter weather. The staff were friendly plus the hotel as huge lawn for morning walks and great location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both buildings of this hotel have been renovated recently and the rooms look much better. I stayed in a reasonably priced superior room in the left side of the hotel. The price I paid was actually much lower than the price advertised on Google which might have been for deluxe rooms. People interested in exotic beers can even drink Belgian Leffe beer in their bar located in a beautiful garden. Breakfast is unimpressive and disappointing.
