you may find almost fresh food here, like veg, fruits, fishes (many kind), sprawn, chicken and so on.. (cannot find pork here)

When we really go into the market, we see ourselves in the middle of stalls and shops with old town charm. From big grocery stores to small shops, from daily cooking items to fresh seafood, from barber shops to coconut water shops, there are.
If interested, you can haggle and get a good bargained price. The sale person will make a friendly
banter with a good natured smile.
I bought fresh seafood; prawns, fish, crabs and fresh vegetables. There were cockles and small oysters which look very fresh. If you would like to check the weight of the purchased item, there is a weighing machine set down by the management committee of the market.
There are tea shops of Myanmar style around the market. Other small businesses such as photo studio, mobiles and accessories shops, pharmacy and etc are seen nearby.
All in all, the experience is quite pleasant to be in a charming, old, busy and friendly place.
