➕ The family is amazing, all of them are super friedly, lovely, help you right away, if you need anything and always have a smile for you.
The lodge is very nice and clean, our room was close to the reception so we had wifi.
The breakfast was very good, fresh fruits & juices, egg variates, toast, sweets made out of coconut and rice and we were lucky to try the chicken coconut soup with noodles in the morning.
As we were unhappy with our scooter ("flat/ low tires") they organized a switch right away.
the restaurants around that area are good, prices vary a lot.
➖ Sadly the neighborhood has very loud speakers which sometimes start as music or a speech around 4 am and last until breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have enjoyed staying here so much that am happy to say we have just completed our second visit. Surrounded by an area so beautiful and unique, and yet surprisingly untouched by extreme waves of tourism. It is truly a tropical paradise just waiting to be discovered. Whether we keep coming back for the empty white sand beaches or our Home Away From Home, is still unclear to us.
Villager Lodge mirrors the hospitality and friendly smiles that are found throughout Ngapali. A special place, tucked away in a quite neighborhood and a minute walk to the beach, where you can find everything you need with the service you expect.
In a town where new hostels appear every month, Villager Lodge still stands above expectations and I know will continue to do so, as we look forward to planning year three.

Fantastic family run hotel, very welcoming and knowledgeable with great English.
Perfect place to relax. Being at the northern end of the beach it’s a quieter area but the free bikes and hireable ebikes mean it’s easy to get around and explore if you don’t want to use a Tuk-tuk. There are a number of good restaurants in the area and far more accessible further south along the road.
There are nice gardens to chill in at the hotel and the free all day tea, coffee and water is a great idea. It’s a short walk to the beach where there are some umbrellas and chairs on the beach for hotel guests to use for free.
The breakfast has a good selection and is served in lovely settings outside in the bamboo garden.
The spacious rooms are kept very clean and restocked with toiletries every day.
It didn’t matter for us as we had a local sim but the wifi isn’t very strong and often dropped out.
Thank you for looking after us, we will definitely stay again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really good location close to a number of restaurants and shops as well as a couple of minutes from the beautiful beach.
The staff were so welcoming and helpful.
Nice clean room with tv and movie channels, a good bathroom with all the amenities. Really good value for money. So good we extended our stay.
I would highly recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time in Ngapali. A lovely place, nicely decorated, attention to details, enough sitting areas to chill out. The breakfast is served in a bamboo "forest" and very tasty. The family running this hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel is just a short walk to the beach with 4 umbrellas and sitting chairs for the guests. We felt very welcome and would come again. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super friendly, lovely and helpful owner and staff. Nice and clean rooms, tasty and rich breakfast on the roof terrace surrounded by a tropical garden. Many good seafood restaurants nearby. Perfect location for relaxing days at Ngapali Beach. I can recommend it to everybody. We will come back for sure! Thanks for the wonderful time at your Lodge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. Away from the street, quiet. Good quality breakfast with some variation every day. Clean rooms, outstanding staff. About 100 meters to the beach across the street. Bamboo chairs on the beach, more comfortable than they look. Beach is mostly empty, very few tourists, some locals taking selfies. Preferred this beach way over the bigger one to the south which is much more touristy. I liked that the hotel was surrounded by buildings owned by locals. Many restaurants and a store just around the corner.
