★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Waiting Lodge/Marco’s Cellar is a great new place with a nice wine selection and great ambiance. I happened to visit on a Saturday night so we had the added bonus of enjoying live music. The food, although tasty was indeed appetizer proportion. My friend and I ordered the fish & chips and were quite shocked at the size. I’ve included pictures. Perhaps other dishes are different but this was indeed a snack for us so I’d recommend not coming super hungry. I do though strongly suggest ordering the warm brownie with salted caramel sauce. It was super tasty! Overall I think it’s a WONDERFUL place and I’d recommend it for those traveling through Pyin Oo Lwin. I will definitely plan on coming back with friends.
