★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's sad to look at these elephants chained and obviously unhappy with this life. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go and support this place, elephants should be treated well and kept in a space that's much bigger than them. It's a really really sad place...

Poor chained elephants stuck in an area of 1-2 meters. Desperately trying to move around or do anything but stand there.
So sad to see. Why not instead make a large area where they can all roam around together?
Clearly they are unhappy, agitated and sad.
Do something about this, this is not okay...
Your national treasure is really a national shame!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After the initial "awe" of seeing white elephants, the reality sets in and you see how they are treated and it makes you want to see them have at least one more square foot of space at least. I've never been a big animal rights guy, but even I'm like "wait, I thought these animals were supposed to be revered and respected?"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a total of 6 white elephants. There is 5 females and 1 male elephants. The elephants are also clever and they are really beautiful. There is a total of 9 white elephants in Myanmar and 6 of them are in Nay Pyi Taw. The elephants are also white from head to tail and it very fascinating to see them. You can also feed the elephants. One basket costs 1000 kyats, but the people there feeds the elephants. There is also an elephant in the middle which dances.
