★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of very few places in Yangon serving authentic Nangyi Montdi Athoke (Mandalay-styled thick rice noodle). But they're actually serving Monywa variant of Mandalay Noodles. Honestly I don't really know the difference but noodle dishes are tasty! In addition, they have oily steamed rice topped with beans and various dishes to accompany with the rice. Another highlight is the frying fritters stand where you can sample all that central Myanmar has to offer. In fact this restaurant has almost everything what a typical breakfast stand in Annyar (the region referring central Myanmar along Ayeyarwaddy & Chindwin Rivers) is on offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mee Shay is Mandalay style Mee Shay. I uses to stay in Monywa. Their menu is totally Mandalay food stuffs. None from Monywa. Shop is closed on Manday. And business hour is from 6 am to 2 pm. Not recommend to bring your foreigner friends or colleagues as a bit messy view in kitchen area. A Kyaw (Barma fried stuffs) is available there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste toned down but still quite good. Mee shay was acceptable, but that's that. Mont T was ok but quite oily, so should ask them to reduce the oil while ordering. The place itself is a normal shop, not much going on and not quite tidy as well. Orders are served quite quick. The fries are quite soggy though, its a minus point. Best to order from online and eat at home rather than make a trip.
