Nicht weit vom Ufer des Irravadi liegt diese wunderschöne Anlage mit einer grossen, vollständig vergoldeten Pagode. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall und man sollte sich Zeit nehmen.
Not far from the banks of the Irravadi is this beautiful complex with a large, fully gilded pagoda. A visit is definitely worth it and you should take your time.

Herrlicher Ort zum verweilen Bin eher zufällig auf diesen Tempel gestoßen. Direkt oberhalb des Ufers findet sich dieser kleine Tempel. Das Besondere ist die Lage. Hinter der Pagode kann man weit über das Wasser gucken. Auch sind einige Buddha-Statuen zum Thema Wasser (in einem Pool mit Fischen oder mit Schildkröten) dort (hab ich so noch nirgends wo gesehen). Ausserdem kann man den Menschen am Strand zusehen.
Wonderful place to stay I came across this temple by accident. This small temple is located directly above the shore. The special thing is the location. Behind the pagoda you can look far over the water. There are also some Buddha statues on the subject of water (in a pool with fish or with turtles) (I have never seen them anywhere else). You can also watch the people on the beach.

Five Buddha images were recovered fm Irrawadi River and housed here. This place is not a tourist attraction.

Buddhist temple named Podomu, alongside Irrawaddy river. Although the buildings are new, the images inside the temple are old and get from inside water of the Irawaddy river, seemed to sink long times ago.
