သက္ကရာဇ် ၉၅၉ခုနှစ်တွင် တောင်ငူဘုရင်မင်းရဲသီဟသူသည် ရခိုင်ဘုရင် မင်းရာဇာကြီးကိုစစ်ကူတောင်းကာ ဟံသာဝတီကို ဝန်းရံတိုက်ခိုက်သည်။စစ်ရှုံးသောနန္ဒဘုရင်ကိုနန်းချကာ မင်းရဲသီဟသူဟံသာဝတီထီးနန်းကိုသိမ်းယူသည်။ ထိုအချိန်တွင်ယိုးဒယားဘုရင်ဗြနရာဇ်(ဖရားနရေဆွန်)က ဟံသာဝတီက်ုစစ်ချီလာသည်။မှုးမတ်အချို့က ရခိုင်ဘုရင်တပ်လည်းရှိနေသဖြင့် ဟံသာဝတီမှခုခံရန်လျှောက်တင်သည်။

ဆူးငြောင့်တို့ကိုလုပ်စေ၏။မြို့ထိပ်တွင်စိန်ပြောင်းမြတပူတင်စေသည်။စပါးဆန်များမြို့တွင်းသို့သွင်း၍စစ်ပြင်ဆင်သည်။ ယိုးဒယားမင်းလည်းတောင်ငူသို့အပြင်းချီ၍ ကျွဲမကူးချောင်း(ဖြူးအနောက်ဖက်)တွင်တပ်ချကာ တောင်ငူမင်းသို့ သံစေလိုက်သည်မှာ" ယခုတောင်ငူမင်းကို စစ်ပြုမည်ဟုကျွန်ုပ်မလာ ၊ဟံသာဝတီရှင်ဘုရင်ကို ဘုရားကဲ့သို့ကိုးကွယ်ချင်သောကြောင့် တောင်းမည်လာသည်ဟု စေလှာသည်။ တောင်ငူဘုရင်ကလည်း"နောင်တော်ဘုရားကို ယိုးဒယား မင်းသာကိုးကွယ်ချင်သည်မဟုတ်၊ငါလည်းကိုးကွယ်ချင်သည်ဟုပြန်လိုက်၏။ ယိုးဒယားမင်းလည်း ဟံသာဝတီမင်းကိုမရပဲကိုငါမနေ ရအောင်ယူမည်ဟု မြို့ရင်းသို့ချဉ်း၍ကျုံးနဖူး၌တပ်တည်ပြီးလျှင် ကျုံးရေကိုဖောက်၍ ပေါင်းလောင်းမြစ်(စစ်တောင်းမြစ်)သို့ထုတ်သည်။ထိုမြောင်းပေါက်ကိုယခုတိုင်အောင် "ယိုးဒယားပေါက်"ဟုတွင်၏။မြို့ကိုလည်းလှေကားထောင်၍
တက်၏။မြို့စီးပြစီးသူရဲဗိုလ်ထု ထူထပ်လှ၍မတက်နိုင်။ ရခိုင်တပ်ကလည်း ယိုးဒယားရိက္ခာလှေတပ်ကိုကြားဖြတ် တိုက်ခိုက်သဖြင့် ငတ်မွတ်လာသည်။ထို့ကြောင့်၉၆၂ခုကဆုန်လဆုတ်ဆယ်ရက်နေ့(26.4.1600)တွင်ယိုးဒယားတပ်များတောင်ငူမှဆုတ်ခွါသည်။

Yodaya Pauk (Siamese Canal)
This canal was dug by the military forces of Siamese King Naresuan in AD 1600 during the battle of Toungoo.
 History of Iodine (Brief)
