It is famous because of Hsit Myat Hnar (ရှစ်မျက်နှာ စေတီ) pagoda, located in the compound and colonial style buildings (သိမ် နှင့် ကျောင်းများ). The monastery is managed by the third chief of monk Ashin Kusala, who upgraded to the Sangha learning center (ပရိယတ္တိ စာသင်တိုက်) in 1993.
