★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can taste traditional Pa-Oh ( one of the tribes in shan state). Goat Curry is Good. Vegetable salads are also great. When we visited, we order 3 person sets. I have attached in following photo. I recommend you guys to taste good there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not sure why other local guides commented as good. What i felt was salty, many msg in every food, and too much modifying on original taste. Coffee and tea also below so so. But when I was there, local people were keep coming and order foods. Price is neither expensive nor cheap. Recommend to try only just one time, perhaps you may like their food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant in the downtown of Kalaw. Well prepared and hygienic dishes but the price is a bit above optimal as Kalaw is a tourist destination. One bowl of regular Mohingha is 1500 MMK but the taste is good like Yangon. Better have a try here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best restaurant in town. Speciality is "Sakaw Htamin", which is assorted steam rice with vegetables and choice of main dish, fried chicken or mutton soup. Service is good and friendly, foods are not bad. Should try it! Building is upgraded to two storey building, and people prefer to dine in upstairs.

It is recommended to try the signature dish ''Zagaw Rice(Rice on Bamboo tray)'' which contains two to three types of rice with many choices of dishes (salads, grilled fishes, goat meat curry, grounded goat meat with pickled tea leaves, etc.) and come with 3-person and 5-person sets.
Food is hygienic and delicious.
There is not enough parking space.
The staff are attentive but do not expect quality services from the local staff.
Overall, a good place to have lunch or dinner with friends and families.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location looks good. But the food quality is quite poor. We just order the normal food likes fried rice, fried mixed vegetables and Strawberry milkshake to share for two persons. The vegetables are not fresh. We complained to the chefs and they provide a new one.
