★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is somewhat old. And there is no toothbrush and toothpaste. But staffs are kind. And rooftop bar is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't stay at this hotel just went to the rooftop bar. The bar open til 3am with the view of Shwedagon Pagoda, not a very close though. The bar staff were nice and helpful but only can provide basic drinks. On the day I visit there were no live music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only went there for a coffee. They have free WiFi at around 200kbps. The coffee is OK, you get 2 oreo's with it. Staff is very friendly and the restaurant is very clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooftop bar is more like a collection of garden furniture that just happened to find itself on the roof. Alcohol was watered down, and service lacked attention. Despite this the view across the city is great and not as pretentious at some other 'rooftop bars' in Yangon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooftop bar has huge potential. Unfortunately the bar staff are unable to cope with more than 10 customers and the drinks are expensive (6000 kyat for a tiny plastic cup of G&T) for what they are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel has an air of faded elegance. The single lift stops between every second floor so there is a walk down or up to your floor.
The Sapphire Club is the bar on the rooftop. To get there you take the lift to the top then go up a half floor to get to 12. Then you have to walk down a corridor between guest rooms to get to the stairs to the top.
Though the decor is basic the bar is friendly with very good White Russian and Mojito cocktails at very reasonable prices. The place is quiet and there is a good view of the Shwedagon Pagoda on one side and the downtown area on the other.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a decent view of Yangon, this is the right place. The Sapphire Lounge that sits on top of the hotel serves as their rooftop bar. Great place for unwinding. The main downside is the set-up, expect to see rusty tables and chairs. Not the typical rooftop bar setting. They also have free WiFi connection and its pretty good and stable.
