★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you look at the milky water in the pool, you'll realise the hotel is way past it's prime. The rooms are decent and clean, and it's still considered ok. Head down to Azure restaurant nearby the lake for a great meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were upgraded to a very large suite. The room was great for our stay. The really disappointing part was the facility itself. Simply not worth the time spent. The restroom is always wet because not have shower curtain. Leaks in the bathroom. The people there treat you like you're somebody.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location of the hotel is perfect. Amenities are the most basic only. These rooms without doubt will be the best hotel room we are ever likely to stay in. Walking distance to the shops & restaurants. The water gardens are a beautiful oasis in a concrete jungle. Good for breakfast. Decor in the rooms is a little outdated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was spacious. The swimming pool was good. The hotel staff were helpful. Some room for improvement would be upgrading some room facilities and providing breakfast buffet with more options. For a renowned hotel like this, I would expect to have local food to be included in the buffet and to make the buffet more varied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a huge four-storey building with 108 rooms. Rooms are quite spacious but the toilet in my room doesn't have exhaust fan. Bathtub is included. Swimming pool looks nice. The location of the hotel is the best because it took the site of the former Shan Palace which was destroyed during the military government time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything for hotelier are good. The employees are probably the best we have ever encountered. The location was absolutely perfect for my needs. The gardens are an absolute pleasure to walk around. I liked how spacious the room felt. The bed was the best i have ever slept in. The magnificent views are simply stunning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place. Went in the low season and it was probably the best value-for-money I've experienced in Myanmar. Manager ("Lin"?) and his team are some of the friendliest and most-helpful hotel staff around.
The only thing to improve is the breakfast (noodles are great, the days without noodles should have something good too).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Staff was great, I liked Linn and his style a lot. The room was spacious and had a balcony, but especially the bathroom was quite dirty. Which is a pity because it could be fixed so easily (like exchanging the moldy shower curtain.
The pool was green a lot, but the surrounding of the pool was very nice.
