Breakfast is third rate, Rooms normal
Mobile signal very weak. Price is reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's your basic, typical SE Asian low/mid-range hotel in the middle of the downtown area. Mattress is very firm and the room decor very minimalist, which seems to be rather common throughout SE Asia. The staff were extremely helpful, booking bus tickets and packing a box breakfast when we needed to leave very early in the morning.

The Decoration & Design of the building was fantastic..If you gonna stay in Downtown of Yangon try this place..

Enough space in the restaurant and lobby to sit and work but of course always mosquitos as everywhere so bring your repellent!
I liked to stay 2 nights because the bed is also amazing comfortable ,however the walls are very thin and everyone if somebody just walking normally it's sounds like an elegant approaching on a wooden bridge ..
The sanitair is also fine ,however it is a big struggle to set the shower... it's or very hot or very cold.. but of course at least they have hot water... in my travelling very often there is only ice cold water...
So nice place to stay if you accept these facts.
My stay was included breakfast but i must say that breakfast at 8 o'clock - so just after 7 hour starting time - is not really big... a few toast bread with jam or butter and some vegetables and fried noodles... and 3in1 instant coffee .. so it's ok just saying don't expect luxury!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here for 2 nights while in Yangon & Aung Tha Pyay Hotel was an excellent choice. Relative to the rest of Myanmar, Yangon is a pretty pricey city but ATP ended up being an excellent value. The rooms are pretty much as expected for the price, but the main value is being right in the heart of downtown Yangon. You can easily get just about anywhere within 10-15 min of walking and if further, you can easily hail a taxi or the staff will help you call one too. The staff was super friendly and helpful during my stay, arranging for airport transfers, taxis to and from the main pagoda, and giving some tips of places to visit/check out while in Yangon. If I return to Yangon, I'll certainly be looking to stay at ATP again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are cheap and pretty decent for the price point but they allow smoking in the hotel which permeated into all the rooms via the drop ceilings and just stinks. We got our room and indeed whole floor changed to get away from smokers and were put under the laundry room so it was loud very early in the morning. The laundry service is also a rip off.
