★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Massive great hotel complex spread over a large area, with all mod cons. Great poolside bar and restaurant with good views. Controversial viewing tower has great views as well as restaurant and bar, but a bit of a eye-sore in a historic area. Rooms and suites are very dark, with too little natural light.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to change my spacious room as the first had a large lizard poo right on the bed. The room they gave me after that had NO view and hard as a rock twin beds. So much for my prepaid upgrade! So they don’t like if you complain. The rooms smell musky and I dreaded taking a shower. It is too bad as the location is pretty and a view from the tower makes the hotel tolerable. Food and service are only adequate and not five star resort quality. The Entertainment and lush grounds was what saved the rating from one star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful architecture and good service. Picturesque location with temples all around and the main pool has a superb view. Quiet location, close to the airport but 15-20 min drive from Bagan.
But:
In need of upgrade - rooms and facilities are dated. Rooms are dark. WiFi not the strongest. Hotel should consider airport transfer given they’re 5 min away. Pool was under maintenance while I was there and management did not do anything to compensate for the trouble.

evening views around the pool were
great and the staff was friendly and
attentive.Beautiful architecture and good
service. Picturesque location with
temples all around and the main
pool has a superb view. Quiet

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful hotel with large teak columns and traditional architectural design. The outdoor pool overlooks the fields with some small pagodas with the evening sun setting over the horizon. I always enjoyed having a swim and cold beer here beside the pool during sunset. It is a little out of the way from the 3 town areas, but worth dropping by if you are in bagan.

it was beyond the expectations and exceptional.
Thanks again to the Chef who make that kind of delious dessert and thanks to F&B supervisor ofcoz his team.
