- Make sure you do not stay at this hotel on a Sunday. Every Sunday they dust the whole hotel with something against mosquitos. It looks like smoke from a fire and smells really bad. They forgot to warn us and we had to climb out of the window of our room because the smoke in the hallway was so thick we couldn't see anything. But they were very sorry about it and gave us an upgrade to a better room which was very nice.
- it is about 10 min by e-bike away from the restaurant street
- there is no safe in the room
Positive:
- at breakfast you can order your eggs as you like them
- the pool is refreshing and clean
- the rooms are spacious and clean with big bathrooms
- the e-bikes are really cool and useful, just make sure you test them first (the 1st had a flat, the 2nd was really slow but after complaining they always gave us good ones). We can recommend number 4 and 10.

Wifi only allowed for two devices per room.
Very far from bagan city and famous places.
Facilities like toothbrush and toothpaste need to request on demand.
Bad price to performance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bqgan's Emerald Hotel is warm, spacious and well equipped. The hotel is situated only a small drive from the famous ancient pagodas. The staff are welcoming and exquisitely mannered. The breakfast offered contains tradional Burmese delecacies as well as a host of traditional breakfast items, including eggs, cooked to order. The hotel offers bokw rental which is good for those wanting to explore the hundreds of pagodas with ease. The venue also hosts a small swimming pop for guests wanting to cool down after a long day. Really, there is nowhere else to stay whilst in Bagan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, loved our stay here. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, very clean and cozy room. Hotel it's located 10 minutes away from old or new Bagan via e-bike that they provide at the front desk. This place it's hassle free: information, bus tickets, air tickets, tours, etc, you can get at the front desk without any additional fees. If return to Bagan, definitely I'll stay here again. Only place that needs improvement is the wifi speed, but heck, I'm in vacation and don't need to be connected all the time....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for one week in Bagan Emerald Hotel and had a great time. Manager is super friendly and helpful and will make a lot of effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable.
Staff is very friendly too (with the exception of one man who is very square and not customer focused whatsoever) and breakfast is great, with many options; favorites being fried banana, yoghurt and bacon (that could be a bit better fried in my opinion).
Situated close to the bus station and not too far from the airport, but further from the restaurants and tourist spots. That was no problem for us as we had our own car to get around.
Can recommend, especially at the low price offered on Agoda.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located near the bus station, this location is slightly far from town and the temples. However taxi service and e bike rental is provided by the hotel. We got a free full day e bike rental per room we booked for 2 nights.
Pool is very refreshing and nice. Breakfast is mediocre. Wifi is slow (although this seems to be the case for the region as a whole).
Overall, a nice budget hotel to stay at while trying to visit the beautiful temples in Bagan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have had such a great stay here. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good, with a lot to choose between. The staff very friendly. And because of a sewer issue that made our friends room smell really bad they gave not only our friends but also us too a free upgrade to a much better room (with good smell ??). We have been a few times to Bagan and thus is so far the best place we've stayed at!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's very close to the city bus station, just 5 minutes from it. It provides a comfy bed, with a cool swimming pool. It has an e-bike rental for an affordable price. If you wish to visit Bagan temples, then surely it will take around a 15-minute ride but that's okay as long as you're prepared for some sudden weather change during winter time in the early morning and at dawn after the sun sets. Love the staff, too. It's a quiet and calming vibe you'll get from here. Will be back for sure.
