★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You will enjoy a huge lacquerware exhibition and the workshop at which you will learn each and every step of lacquerware production. Although the price seems a bit expensive for local people, a high caliber handcraft materials should be well valued.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ bought a bracelet which fell apart after a week. they showed us how they make the products and how many layers they put.. all a sham, lacquer fell from the bracelet almost immediately. I was going to order a large vase to the uk, but definitely won't be doing it from them.

I thought shopping for lacquerware in Bagan would be the best craftsmanship and price, and it isn’t :/ At a nice hotel in Inle now and their gift shop has quality pieces for better prices. Shop around Bagan if you have time, compare, and go with one of the little guys. I stopped by Lotus Collection and thought they had great pieces for good prices, but ran out of time to go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel with the warmest of welcomes. Delightful owner really keen to give satisfaction to guests. The only place to stay in Bagan with the best rooftop bar and restaurant . The ideal place to sit looking out over the trees at surrounding pagodas at sunset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The handcrafts here are amazing. You can watch as people work tirelessly on their projects, sometimes years in the making. Things aren't cheap here, and I'm not surprised considering the huge amount of work and detail that goes into some of these things. Definitely worth checking out in Bagan. Also they don't charge any entrance fee and no pressure to buy anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lacquer ware factory and showroom. I was looking for woodwork but stopped by at this place. Staff were super friendly and eager to explain the lacquer ware process. Showroom was superb. They even offered hot tea and sesame biscuits. Lacquer ware on the whole is pricey so we didn't get any but 5stars for the superb service and outlet

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Of course, their price are expensive. The quality of a product depends on the price. Bought 2 small lacquer item for 15,000ks ($10) & they gave me 2 free lacquer bracelets which was a nice gesture. We visited Bagan House because the location is just across Bagan View Hotel, the place we stayed in New Bagan.
