★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Instead of the buses shown on their site we got some kind of crowded makeshift minibus with no legspace (my boyfriend had to literally sit sideways for the whole trip) and no AC. These are hardly the conditions you would expect and wish for an 8hr drive. My boyfriend at one point said that he would wish this on his worst enemy and that's saying a lot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad information on arrival. Uses mini vans there only for locals, being very vague by asking questions where they go.
Bus ride was fine. Lunch and snack were as unhealthy as possible. A Coke (in night bus?!) and transfatty cake.

the night bus from kalaw to Bagan was noisy and uncomfortable, 1 star is still a lot for them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No A/C, the drivers blasted music and SANG out loud the entire time (on an overnight bus!), forced all the sleeping passengers out of the bus on a rest stop when all I wanted was to get a moment of quiet sleep, and all of that was supposed be a VIP bus. Waste of money. Take JJ Express if you can. The only plus is we got to Yangon an hour early.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before leaving Nyaung Shwe/Inle Lake we were confirmed that bus driver could leave us at our hotel (which was only 5km before Bagan bus station) because the bus was arriving to Bagan at 4am. But finally they did not do that, and when we asked for some explanations they were very very rude and we were told to pay a taxi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We drove at 16th November frPPom Bagan to Pyay. We paid 18000 kyats for per ticket in some travel agency in Nyaung-U. Instead of normal bus we got 15 seats minivan with no AC. The young guy from minivan wanted to earn as many kyats as he can so he just pick up every person in the street. The same boy connrcted his phone to speaker in the van via bluetooth and start listening loudly some shi.tty music almost for whole trip till I disconnected the cable. Minivan was delayed as well. Should be at 9 am but they pick up us 30 min later. Even if I want to I can't find any pluses. I DON'T RECOMMEND THEM. Ask first in your hotel or travel agency when you will be buying ticket about the name of the bus company If you hear Bagan Minn Thar Express just run as fast as you can. Don't give them even a penny. AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANNA ENJOY YOUR TRIP TO MYANMAR.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bus itself wasn't too bad and the stops we made were fine. The thing that was pretty bad was the heat on for the whole journey that made people so hot and sweety that it impossible to sleep. Some were sick and other dizzy up to to point where I went to ask the driver to put the A/C on and after 10min the heater was back on again. So bad
I also got my small travel bag stolen right above my head while I was sleeping. Like really!!! The driver was useless for any help and then you get to arrived at bagan bus station in the middle of the night so remote from the town that the taxi drivers come to you like flies and mosquitoes.
Pretty bad experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took a bus from Bagan to Yangon, which was sold as VIP but had nothing VIP except from the fact that there are only 3 seats per row. The bus was a chinese-made old bus with steering wheel on the right side, so I guess it's an old bus that served some good time in Thailand and is now in Myanmar before being scrapped. It was dirty and most and foremost the fumes from the engine were in the passenger cabin, which made the trip even worse. Driver had to stop two times to fix the engine during the trip... Go for a non VIP but better company if you want to save, you will be more comfortable than here. Other than that, we arrived safe and on time.
