★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first Lik Loung (Shan Parabaik) Conference was held there in December 2013. It's a great place. The history of this Shan temple and the Shan village near the temple goes back over a hundred years ago.Two old buildings still exist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A peaceful place, wide area where the shadow of trees makes me cool inside. The big temple makes me amazed to view. The bamboo strip Buddha stupa is golden shining and the flower pots are really good smell for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The building where the statue is located has a nice main floor area that can be used for receptions or parties. The statue itself is on the second floor, and I was a little disappointed that I couldn't really tell that it was made out of bamboo, it looks like any other Buddha statue. There is a library next door that is much more architecturally interesting, and there was a couple there taking wedding photos. Very nice location.

It is situated in Aung Myay Bonthar Shan monastery, 9 mile, Pyay Road, Mayangone Township in Yangon. It is built in April 2005 by leading architect Lone On Sai — the follower of Mine Phone Sayardaw. It is 18 feet hight. There you can learn other stupa and beautiful buildings. That monastery compound is a peaceful place with shady trees.
