★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous new clean hi tech beautiful staff this is the best downtown Riverside hotel in Myitkhina and very posh, if you don't want to pay for the Cartel luxury then New Light Hotel is very very cheap but without the cartel luxury

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the latest hotels in Myitkyina. The hotel's Location is great, next to Irrawaddy River. The sunrise veiw seeing from the top of the hotel is fantastic. As a new hotel, the hotel rooms are clean and fresh. The meeting room in the hotel is very convenient for trainings and meetings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A new hotel on the banks of the Irrawaddy with comanding views from the 8th observation floor. Rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed with comfortable beds. Both hot and cold water are available; with fixed as well as hand held shower heads. Water, however, drained on to the floor behind the toilet seat, and hence into the drain! There are ample number of electricity sockets with multi-sockets for all variety of plugs. Rooms are airconditioned. On the whole a very good 3 star hotel.

Easy to Travel and Meals.
High Quality Room and Clean and Tidy.
However, Breakfast Room is quite small compared to size of Hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean hotel with great facilities. However the staffs were incompetent, we already checked in and went out for dinner but when we came back they blocked the room card and asked us to wait at the reception area, no explanation, we waited for 15 mins. We said, fine we will just leave, just wanted to get our lugguages, but they wouldn't take it either, we came a long way and everyone was tired + cranky. The dog wasn't allowed, they said they would keep it in the basement! Guests wouldn't be allowed under there, who know if they'll actually feed him/ give him water. I had to give the dog to my friend to take care for the night. The service and attitude of this hotel is apalling!! We left early the next day so no breakfast either...
