★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to relax on a rainy day. The staff here are simply delightful and the owner incredibly helpful. Our moto's battery died at Maungmagan beach and when we asked ZinMar for help she had someone here in 2 minutes to fix it. They are in the process of renovating their community area and kitchen so it will be a great excuse to come back and check it out again in a few weeks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent location for people who like to escape the usual tourist trails. Place is located 10 minutes away from the beach (walking). Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Few opportunities for improvement: increase water pressure, maybe Wi-Fi in the future? (local sim cards can be purchased for a few Kyat's in the village).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in a bungalow: very dingy and rundown. This was after switching out of the one originally given to us with holes in the ceiling (supposedly an older unit that is no longer maintained to make way for an upcoming pool: then why still rent it out when there were other bungalows available!?).
Cockroach in the bedroom, toad and termite nest in the bathroom, rats in the common area close to the kitchen. The rats also seem to come to the bungalows given the sounds heard at night.
No breakfast included and food prices are very steep for the quality/quantity.
Staff was otherwise helpful and friendly but that is far from being sufficient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is situated about five hundreds meters far from the beach called Maungmagan with nice restaurant and friendly staffs. Under the coconut trees, bungalow type. Recommend for those who want to stay quite place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in the basic 3 bed dorm accomodation so the room was average but fulfilled the basic needs with mosquito nets and cheap accommodation but what gave the extra points were the staff. Incredibly hospitable. Also good food, short walk to the beach. Animal lovers will get their full with Tina the dog and the incredible Shwe Wah (Goldern Cat) complete with attitude and crooked tail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here four nights. The staff was really friendly and especially the reception lady was always helpful when we had questions and can basicially organise everything. We stayed in one of the cheaper rooms without aircon and hot water (25USD-no breakfast included; brakfast is 2000-4500 kyat). It was clean and tidy but be aware of some insects as the resort is located in the nature. The dishes here are very tasty and always made of fresh ingredients. They are a bit pricy (starts around 4500 kyat) due to the fact that you don't have that much choice of other restaurants around. If possible: try the restaurants at the beach (~10minutes walk) they are cheaper and offer fresh seafood. The guesthouse also offers scooter rental for 10.000 kyats/day and some trips to fishervillages and sometimes a snorklingtrip (! 60 USD). Conclusion: we had a really nice and comfortable stay but it had it's price.
