Very peaceful and relaxing. The waves can be seen and heard during both day and night. The staffs are well trained and always polite. Gave us free accomodation for early arrival. Service is more than enough. Gave us free pudding unlike any other hotels. Air-con and fridge are well-functioning.
Bad but understandable -
1.Door systems are a little bit troubling.
2.There is only one wastebin in the room. (Btw, it is in bathroom)
Suggestion-
1. It needs more variety in morning buffet breakfast(although food is relatively good)
2. Shower gel should be given more (although of course you can ask for more)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shower wasn't working, AC was not working and it took more than 2 hours to fix it. Menu is comparebily expensive, even a Lemon cost was being charged along with salt and pepper. A snake was also found in their dinning area bathroom. Toilet wasn't clean enough. Room was charged over once we arrived at but a lower amount was told over the call. Extra bed chagres were 40% of room charges.
Value for money - 2 out of 10.
Staff - very humble 10 out of 10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ended up at Emerald sea resort by accident with a great off season special. negotiate DIRECTLY with the hotel
And not head office. Michael and his staff , and in particular Myo Min Htet couldn’t do enough for us. From great service at the pool to small complimentary treats as well as a lunch box for the trip back to Yangon there was nothing that was too much effort. On our 5 months of Travelling in SE Asia this was one of our best experiences. Buffet breakfast was superb and so were the items off the menu. The video and book library is a great feature.
We appreciated that Michael advised us not to use the motorbike taxis on the beach as they are illegal and have an environmental impact. We also noticed that the hotel cleans their section of the beach making it a nice spot. Most of the beach has heaps of litter on it.
Lovely rooms ( see video) and a beautiful spot to relax. We hardy left the premises. If you do feel like dinner out we recommend Chai Thai and Table 5.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've spent new year day there, one of few hotels which didn't make compulsory to new year night buffet. Housekeeping staffs and receptionists are sweet, helpful and very patient to our questions and necessities. Pool and large garden compound are very well decorated as there aren't many Sea-view rooms. Only one bad thing we've encountered during our visit: restaurant staffs are nothing compared to other staffs in service, friendliness and soon before restaurant is closed when only they're left around, the prices became very diverse from their mouth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and helpful staff. Our "superior" room was worth the $83/nt we paid. Nice room and bath and beautiful grounds. Nice pool and beach with covered beach lounges and tubes for floating in the calm waters of the Bay. In late November weather and Water temp was perfect! Great breakfast options and restaurant made surprisingly good dishes. Seafood soup and lemon butter fish we're very good. Oil Massage was relaxing because it was very soft. If you like intense massage skip it or ask if you can get more pressure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A safe fun environment for family vacations of all ages. Wonderful location with an at home atmosphere. The change in Front Desk and Maintenance Staff has improved the service immensely over our stay last year. The infrastructure has been totally renovated and made structurally sound and aesthetically attractive. The value for your money is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is truly a little paradise! The lovely and clean bungalows are located right next to the beach. It's the perfect setting to watch the sunset with a cocktail or a local beer.
The staff was the best! The fairly young bunch of people treated us as kings and queens. They were polite, smiling all the time, making jokes and helping us with our next travel plans. The food was very tasty. I highly recommend staying at this place. It's great way to relax and end your trip through Myanmar before heading back to real life again.

Staffs are nice and welcome. Breakfast is good. But the toilet needs an exhaust fan to ventilate. Some mosquitoes problem if you are dining out on the balcony in the evening.
