Green Haven Hotel, Kalaw

They just want make money !!! As soon as we arrived we had to change room because no water in the bathroom, non cleaning room, tv not avaible,... After 2 nights the boss change prices and he want us to pay more expansives by nights that why we had to find quickly an other hostel !! Was bad moment !! Was Basic room with européen garden...

The garden was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed sitting at the balcony facing it. ???The breakfast was nice. ??Room service and quality of food was good. Recommended if you want peaceful and relax holidays.???

Location was great close to Shwe Oo Min Pagoda. ???? Hotel had an excellent view, peaceful and away from crowds. ?? Love the garden. ?? Service was excellent. ?? Staff made us feel at home. Breakfast was great too.☕️?

It was clean, cozy, and so plesant! We loved the flower garden outside our bungalow and the breakfast was so delicious (egg, toast, avocado, pancake, fried noodle, so many options). We arrived to Kalaw fairly early but they let us check in and the staff were so kind and helpful with everything. Highly recommend :)

Room decoration is perfect with white wall and green curtain. You can order food in reception will buy them from other restaurant. Building is quite beautiful and have small garden. Service needs to be improved and staff and owner should learn to give more warm welcome. Bath room is narrow and needs to keep maintenance.

If you love the nature, you will definitely love this hotel. Situated on the hillside of small town Kalaw and can see the pine forest from the hotel. Staffs are very helpful and they welcome with big smile. I most love the fresh air and the garden. Amazing and quiet environment to spend your holiday. Will come back again.

Scenery around the hotel is refreshing and beautiful. Platforms outside hotel rooms are surrounded by several plants and flowers that smell nice when you walk by. Service is just fine. Breakfast is below average. However, cleanliness is one thing this hotel lacks. Rooms are old and the door and floor creak. Bedsheets don't seem clean to me and they didn't provide pillowcases until we ask for them. There was nothing inside minifridge. Bathrooms are the worst. Bathroom door lock isn't working so door bolt/barrel bolt is provided as an alternative. There are some dead flies on the bathroom floor while the flush handle was rusty. Also, shower curtain doesn't seem clean to me. There is only one showerhead for twins/double room. Water available for washing and bathing was yellowish while the room doesn't smell good. It's not that the air inside the hotel room is bad, it's just doesn't smell normal to me. As an OCD, I sat outside until it's time for bed. Outside air is really fresh. Overall, most of the rooms are really small. Only the corner rooms are spacious. I would recommend you to take a look inside the room and bathroom before you place booking. I'm only rating one star for the plants and flowers around the hotel. They are really nice.

Quiet place and good for relaxing trip. But rooms need improvement for better experience. It is not located near the downtown area. So if you are not driving there, you need to consider hiring a motorbike to go around.
