★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the most famous traditional Kachin food in Myitkyina. It's where all the visitors are inevitably taken, and with good reason. From the steamed rice in bamboo leaves, to the pork curries, the food is delicious, traditional, and clean. The restaurant itself isn't the flashiest place, but you can sit on a big wooden veranda, have a great view of the river, sip a cold tap beer, and eat great food for cheap. Doesn't get much better.
