Really good Chinese food located inside the pan pacific in Yangon

Had a pleasant and enjoyable Halal lunch. Great food and service.

View from varenda can be seen whoe Yangon. Shwedagon and river. Very clean and grand. Different tastes of chinese food are delicate and special. Buffet round the table system is good , not to go to food banches.

It was a family of 5 trip to the restaurant to celebrate my sister’s achievement on master’ s degree. She is a regular at the place so we let her order most of our dishes. 1) Peking Duck Pan Cake(Spring Roll) and Fried Rice We ordered half of the duck. They brought the duck to the table, peeled off the skin and made a pan cake with cucumber, scallions and hoisin sauce. The meat is brought back to the kitchen to make a fried rice. You can have the pancakes as an appetizer. Recommended !! 2) Hot & Sour Seafood soup The soup is the fastest item out of the kitchen. We were so hungry so we finished our bowls at once. As the name goes, it is sour and has to consume while hot. Personally, I do like the soup as they contains generous amount of seafood and it was delicious. Note: The price in the menu is for a personal bowl. 3) Sauteed Shelled Prawn with Oriental Buttered Sauce and Chicken Floss This is my favourite among the dishes. Prawns were huge and tender. Buttered sauce did not overwhelm the prawns natural taste. With the chicken floss on top, the dish was perfect. Highly Recommended!! 4) Stir-fried Wagyu Beef with Black Pepper and Logan Since there are only 3 people who eat beef in my family, it took courage to finish the entire dish. The potion was huge. Beef was soft and juicy and the best thing is they were cut in bite-size. I wish they had more varieties for beef dishes as I am not a huge fan of black pepper sauce. Mom loves the logans in the dish although she did not eat the meat. If you like black pepper and you love eating good beef, order this dish! As for me, I will order another beef dish on my next visit. 5) Stir-fried Grouper Fish Fillet and X.O Chili Sauce This dish tastes normal to me. It was fish fillet cooked in the sauce with some bell peppers. You can order dish like this in any chinese restaurant and I am sure it will taste the same. Potion is quite little compared to the beef dish. 6) Chilled mango Cream with Pomelo and Sago Well, my sister kept it secret when she ordered her favourite dessert. I did not know it was Mango Pomelo Sago which I enjoyed eating every often while I was staying in Singapore. Note: The price in the menu is for a personal bowl. Other than these dishes, we ordered chinese tea and dad enjoyed his dinner with a cup of wine. Total bill was around $150 USD. We enjoyed the service and the private room we had. Staff are well-trained too. This restaurant is good for family, friends, couples and casual business meetings. They have big rooms to host about 20 guests. They have all-you-can-eat buffet menu and dim sum too! Price: $$-$$$

It was almost closing time but the service and the food was great we had a great time here during our visit.

The presentation of food isn’t too great for a hotel restaurant standard. Taste is not bad, the beancurd was surprisingly delicious. Service standard was normal.

Worst dim sum I've had in a fancy 5 star restaurant. I had very high hopes for this restaurant thinking it was Yangon's answer to Lung King Heen or something like that. The restaurant is fancy and very well decorated but that's all. First time I ever spat out a custard bun and egg tart in 33 years of esting dim sum. It was just that bad. They didn't have kailan and crispy pork? That must be a crime in a Chinese restaurant!! Summer Palace at Sule Shangrila does much better dim sum dishes and probably better cooked dinner a la carte dishes too. Pan Pacific Yangon should be ashamed of what they served us.
