★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything is an additional charge. Tired of the nickel-and-diming at Pan Pacific. Stay away and go to Melia Yangon or Novotel for a comprehensive flat rate and excellent buffet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here for a buffet dinner. Which is fine by itself but what we are very disappointed is the fact that it's not exactly a flat rate.
A lot of the items such as sashimi, king crab, lamb and beef steaks are add-ons for additional US$5 per person per category. Meaning sashimi is 5 bucks, if you get lamb chops it's another 5 bucks etc.
And what really irritated us is the fact that they never told us about those. And when we were having eating, the manager kept peeking over out shoulders making sure we aren't sharing food, and repetitively asking us whether we agree to pay additional fees.
I thought this is a five star hotel. Why is the staff treating it's customers like a one star hotel?
If they can't afford to lower the price, then don't do it in the first place. And if you wanna add additional items, please do so systematically.
We find it really rude that they kept looking over shoulders and reminding us about the prices as if we are gonna run away or can't afford to pay for the meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having only breakfasts for 2 days. Many breakfast selections. There are Myanmar dishes such as Mohingar and noodles. Mohingar taste is so good.
However, the restaurant was not ready when it opens at 6:30 a.m.
Some food stations are not ready such as Teppenyaki which was started at 7:30. (1 hour late).
Also, when the restaurant is full, the services are very poor. Inefficient service staffs.
It should not happen at the 5* hotel. Please improve.
