The divination monk namely Shin Izza Gawna built this temple. Legendary said that this monk has separated eyes.(One Izza mean goat and other one gawna mean bull). People believed there was so many interested things about divination. Whatsoever Bagan the name of first Myanmar nation, makes me always delightful.

People think it was named after the monk of Bagan era. Actually it was not.

This temple name is familiar to me. Bcoz I always heard this name in famous song, Na Ga No, Red Dragon.

Decent couple temples and stupas close to that giant, gaudy viewing tower. Worth a visit if you're going to the view tower, but even if you aren't I'd recommend visiting it, as the road it's on contains Winido Temple, Narathihapatae, Lemyethna, Thambula, and a host of other great and criminally overlooked temples
