★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mediocre food and portions. TV is set to loud volume and staff yell when speaking to each other. The tables under the fan had black sediment blowing on it (including on the food and us).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chapati was very oily and came with a small serving of curry. Elsewhere in Burma I pay 250 kyats for a chapati but here they charged me 500 for one. We ordered 4 chapatis and when we went to pay she asked for 1000 kyats and then realised her mistake and quickly changed it 2000 kyats. Hsipaw in general feels like a close knit team who all seem to be working together to charge their tourists double the price. Unfortunately Burma is becoming just as money greedy as the rest of south east Asia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really wanted Indian food so I came here despite the bad reviews. The curry came out ice cold, I shouldn't have eaten it but I did. I got bacterial food poisoning and felt like dying for 3 days. Do do it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic chapati and curry, very friendly staff! We asked for mango lassi, but they didn't have mangoes so we brought our own - and received the most delicious mango lassi for free ;) also had some rice with a kinda green paste like pesto, slightly spicy but absolutely outstanding
