★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't see how others rated this badly. we had a private double bed room and it was massive, clean and ac worked perfectly. bathroom was also very large. sure not all staff spoke English but those who did were very caring and helpful. outside areas extremely well kept and safe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in a single private room and there was plenty of room to relax. Free bike rentals and breakfast were a plus. A good place to connect with other travelers. Young staff a bit immature and overworked as there was always a lineup to get something at the reception. Also free filtered water everywhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for 2 nights. Very friendly and helpful staff. They can arrange everything for you.
They already had a superb breakfast but realising that we are from India, they arranged Indian breakfast the next day. Even offered to carry some food for the boat trips.
The location is little away from central location but you get taxi or tuk tuk everytime and free bicycle from the hotel. This is one of the best value for money options in the town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hostel , very clean and beautiful facilities. The breakfast was great with pancakes omelette and noodles as well as fruit . The reception staff was beyond helpful. They have free bikes for the guests. We booked our boat trip and bus ticket through them

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean modern rooms, fresh paint and renovated bathrooms. It's situated further away from the town center so the prices are lower and it's still walking distance to everything. Also opposite the tourist police station which might come in handy. The guy at front desk wasn't exactly all smiles but was still helpful and had good English skills. The Manager is French with very good English and also very helpful. Of all the places we stayed in Myanmar this was this best, great budget accommodation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High level hotel in very good price. The rooms were very big and cozy with wooden deck floors and big bed, AC, small fridge and a bathtub (!)
Continental breakfast, free bicycle, very nice and understanding staff (made us salads for breakfast just because we asked) ,a good location near the centre, but still quiet, near the great gazibo bar and infront of the police station which were very lovely and helping. Very good for couples. Stayed there for a week, and definitely recommend!???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place! Staff is very nice (not really english speaking though..) rooms are excellent, very cheap yet really specious and comfy. Not close to the city by walk, but two minutes on the bicycle (its free) and you're there,and its also really fun. Definitely recommend, even for backpackers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Part guest house part full on backpacker hostel. Set 10 minutes away from the main part of town Manaw is quite large and has a number of freebies like free bike hire, breakfast included, free water refills - these are all great but due to the sheer volume of guests most services disappear fairly quickly and you're left wanting for food at breakfast or workable bikes. We stayed in a double room which was really nice with a few of the mountains and we were allowed to check in early (post overnight bus). Do note that once the morning check in lady leaves the rest of staff don't really speak much English making it hard to communicate which is cool except when you need something. Overall it's not a bad place to stay for the price but they need to fix a few small issues to make it awesome.
