★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moon Light Guest House is THE option for stays in Thazi. You will not be here long but you will probably remember it forever. There are quite a few bars nearby that you can walk to. Make sure and get a room with a fan, but it will still be quite hot.

Best service and friendly.Simple kindly shows at their face, see no trick as chinese people next of the guest house expensive one very close to tea shop very noisy with soccer tv the whole night cheated 24 hours can't slept well moved to other guest house, Moon Light love the owner and staff.Highest recommend. Come again...and again?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful family, extended a warm welcome, made us a lovely breakfast the next morning. Sleep quality here isn’t the best through. But good for one night passing through. Rooms are very basic, you will need a bed sheet, or ask for one at check in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect place to stay in Thazi. Fair prices. Friendly and honest people at this Guesthouse. They will look after you. I highly recommend spending more than one night here. Go explore the surroundings and the town/villages nearby, there are many places to discover, specially pagodas and monasteries. People will stare at you wherever you go as they are not used to see foreigners. Take it as an opportunity to interact with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best guest house in Thazi, many kind of rooms can choose as you like.quiet rooms are back side with many windows, cheaper rooms in frount side.bath rooms are very clean, good water flows ,clean toilet drain well.Best connection of wifi.Breakfast serve very well myanmar foods and europen breakfast with fruits full of table. And can take away breakfast if you check out early.Highly recommanded Moon Light guest house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed one night on the way to Mandalay. Arrived on the slow train from Inle Lake. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very sparse and basic. You will need to bring a top sheet or sleeping bag. The Room has air con which was good. There is noise from the trucks etc up till about 10pm. Sleeping was ok. The hosts prepared a lovely local breakfast which was a nice touch. Take the horse and cart to the hotel ($2000 one way)
train ride was incredible and is worth the trip. Took the 9am train to Mandalay the next morning. Brought tickets from the station in the morning. All very easy.
