★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. Staff very friendly. Beautyfull resort. Rooms ok. Not to many options to pick for breakfast but restaurant is outside so views and atmosphere is absolutely stunning. There is "Happy life" e-bike rental 100m from resort. It's really worth to rent a bike from them. Superb peoples.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and friendly hotel. There is an ATM conveniently placed at the entrance of the hotel. The staff does an amazing job here. The little things were all in place, and the staff was well trained to fill your every need. Staff has been helpful to arrange bikes, flight tickets etc, and staff's willingness to help is authentic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i love the quietness of the accomodation. Enjoying the slow and peaceful pace of Myanmar. However, things changed when a huge group of chinese tourists arrived.
1. service
excellent service. my wife fell sick on the first day of our stay. the manager assisted to purchase a thermometer for us. Really touched.
Requested for a pail to soak our feet during the cold night as we are down with cold. The manager gladly assisted. 5 stars for service.
2. Facilities
too cold to use the pool. but its really nice to chill by the side of the pool.
Didnt get to use SPA.
No gym facilities.
You can rent an electric bike just outside the resort at reasonable price.
3. Food
Breakfast is good. The quality of food is good. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel. We were charged with USD (a little on the high side). But it's good.
4. Cleanliness
Occasionally, there will be a stench sewage smell coming out of the toilet. Took a little while for the smell to clear.

Room and hotel is beautiful! Breakfast was also good.
The only negative point is, sometimes smelled the bathroom a bit strange. We had the same problem in Yangon.
Apart from this, I highly recommend My Bagan Residence. We really enjoyed our stay.
Prices are reasonable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel was a little run down. The toilet has a faint smell of raw sewage. Staff wasn’t particularly helpful and their English was very basic. Breakfast was basic but in a nice setting in the lawn. Location was good and walking distance from a few restaurants. Pool was too small with too few deck chairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to stay for any type of travelling. Room facilities are above the average and most of the equipment are high quality. Hotel staffs are helpful and trying to their best for the hospitality. Pool is not quite wide, but it is acceptable. Dinner is prepared at open field and traditional puppet show is also included.
Highly recommended for this hotel near New Bagan for relaxation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Boutique Hotel in New Bagan. The hotel is little but outside of the city center and thus it is extremely quiet (around 10 min walk to New Bagan Main Street) There is a nice swimming pool with many trees. Unfortunaltely the water was really cold due to cool wheather. The room was big with nice basket of fruits as welcome gift. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We did try the evening dinner with Puppet Show, it was really nice and the food was delicious (maybe pricy compared to local restaurant), but nice atmosphere outside dinner. The breakfast has quite good selection between Western and Asian dishes. The Omelets are perfectly cooked. The restaurant is also open air and thus it is really nice and feel real holidays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent hospitality and the environment. Resident manager was brilliant! Also the restaurant.. staff was very commendable.. congratulations!
They would need to work on the water purification and also the disturbing pigeons on the roof. Sometimes getting a rest in the rooms is difficult.
The manager assured us that this matter was being addressed.
