★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place run by Philippe and Pearl in proximity to Kalaw, in a small traditional village in a lush valley. The bamboo bungalows are nice and build in a local design, warm water from the solar heaters warms you up during a cold day in the Shan mountains. Treks and trips to waterfall can be organised, with Philippe telling you all the secret routes or joining you himself. It's really more like staying with a family, with great fresh food guaranteed every day.
