★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not to be confused with the newer night market. These are more traditional street stalls serving local delicacies. Travellers looking for halal options theres a stall at the end of the street owned by a Muslim local. Look for the ‘786’ sign in Roman or Arabic numerals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice place for local foods and at regular prices! They all have menus in English, I ate at the Sabal restaurant and had a delicious tea leaf salad and lassi! Friendly people working here and very tasty!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not all the stalls deserve the same rating. Our favorite : the one with the 2 big red signs "Indian Food" and "Myanmar Food".
A must try here : their recept of Palabar. Whether you take chicken & veg or not, that is really tasty food. The staff is nice, smily and can speak good english.
They also make a chocolate & banana Palabar as a dessert : a must try, you'll not regret!

When we went there only were two open which was a bummer but what can you do? We ordered some beer and food, they were super friendly and service was quick. We got some fried noodles (the best tasting during our trip) and some Shan chicken which was mediocre. Prices are low.
