★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stop after a day on Inle Lake. There's a good number of tourists but some locals as well. Food prices are good (paid 1,000 kyat for some noodles) and there's an assortment of vendors selling various souvenirs.

The best stall is on the far end. Prices are 4000 kyat for a main course, 2500 kyat for a large beer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most favourite shop in Night market. Kyaw @ Maung Lay Inlay Traditional food shop. I never forget the taste of hot spicy chicken leg slad and green coconut juices. Another one shan food steamed spring Onion Wrapped banana leaf and local fish rice. I suggest all if u reach Nyaung Night Market try the best tast of Maung Lay Traditional food shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got there a bit too early .. at 6pm, only a half of the stalls were opn .. some just abt to set up .. mostly food stalls .. the locals really like their food, fried or bbq'd ..
Lots of pork w every other innard parts ... several eateries showcase an array of good items ... wish we cld hv stayed longer so tt we cld indulge in the local habits, w the opportunity to mingle & interact w the locals ..
