★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quiet and chill place on the hill with pine trees as the name stand for. Friendly staffs, clean rooms with good services, and a jacuzzi style swimming pool on the rooftop. But the rooms are not sound proof. You could hear guests talking or moving from other rooms. If you are a fun of trekking, a perfact place to start your trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As the hotel is rather remote you are forced to dine in the hotel. Staff who are very friendly walk around in coats and hats and leave all doors and windows open in reception. Staff goes out of the way to make sure your comfortable. Spacious and clean with reasonable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was very helpful. There is at least one English speaking staff who can communicate with you. The breakfast is excellent. It's a buffet. Menu changes every day. Food is not rich at all. The surrounding is serene. Kalaw market is 25 minutes walking. The Kalaw tower is 10 minutes and the train station is 15 minutes..A cave pagoda is nearby. Cars a bit expensive from the hotel but can be arranged. Airport pickup can be arranged at extra cost. The resort has a souvenir corner attached to the reception. There are fireplaces in the reception area and in the bar. The dining room serving breakfast is warm and comfortable. Bungalows are a bit chilly unless you turn on the AC at 30 by Celsius..The landscaping, garden, lawn are well maintained. Ample car parking space available. Hot water is available in the washroom 24 hours. In addition to the electric kettle, the bungalow is provided with a 1 litre capacity flask that keeps water warm for more than 24 hours. Venetian blinds keep the room warm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pretty location. Rooms clean and comfortable. Large bathrooms but they could do with new showers. The spa offered wonderful massages. The food was average and food handling needs improving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The main building has character added to by the wood fire they light in the evening. Very relaxing and tranquil settings. Definitely an interesting area for hiking and exploring and definitely a very nice hotel to base yourself if you can arrange transport in and out of town or don′t mind the walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can use the bikes to get into town but we were happy walking. The staff is friendly and helpful and the free bikes were a nice way to get into town. The rooms were clean and TV's had some English channels. I would stay here again if I ever find myself in Kalaw.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is a little gem on the top of a peaceful hill in beautiful Kalaw. We had a wonderful time there and I am longing to go back to Kalaw and stay at the Pine Hill Resort again one day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely place at a very nice location. Rooms here are spacious and very well appointed. Spa service is excellent. Food is very tasty. Staff is responsive, helping and courteous. Surroundings are nice, great for an evening stroll. The parties just outside the bar and dining area can be a bit noisy at times. Overall, a pleasant experience.
