Prince Hotel

What a nice budget guest house in Mrauk U . I love this. It is warm and cozy. The price is very cheap . Reservation is Recommended.

Very glad I went to Mrauk U despite the time it takes travelling there. The staff is very friendly and helps you out with bike rental, local maps etc. The guide for the visit of the chin village was really good and do a good job with comunicate with the people.

I need to write my review also with a dubbel feeling, and i really hope that the owners if they read will see this as an advice and not as an critical bad review! These are really small things that called maintenance, and trust me there are many other places in the world where all these things are fine but the stuff is far far so freindly and heartful like you! so its really just a small thing to change! First of all, the stuff and the owner are very friendly and kind, the breakfast is fresh and delicious - on the Myanmar styla, bit more oil then needed but its ok - so fried rice, and fresh bread that they bake themselves at the hostel! ITs great! But. I need to inform with my review other travellers, that the rooms are not really ok. I am an experience traveller and i slept several times in my hammock otside but when i pay for a room i would love more cleanness. As other said here on their review, the bathroom is dirty, stinky and very old with its cold water and barely dropping shower. It should be repaired, should be essential and might not cost a lot, really! The rooms are authentiek, but the ventillator doesnt work and despite of the mosquito net, the mosquitos come in. the worse things which make me said are the hygienic facts. The mosquito net above your bed is stinky, dirty and old - it would be easy to wash at least once a month or even twice a year... really, my advice! The bedsheets were dirty when i arrived, and the towels too. Even i asked for a new, they changed it, but the one they changed was also dirty and stinky. Its really disappointing because the stuff is kind and nice! So the location is fine, but be aware of these facts before you book.

I had a nice large room with table and chairs outside for 25 USD. The Guesthouse is the bakery of Mrauk-u so you get bread at breakfast. You may order for meal is you want. The nice garden is dusty and noisy from the main road, it's a shame. Management is very nice and helpful.

The room really need a big refreshing but in a hotel you can't just wait to get a top room in Mrauk. The owner and staff are wonderful. Breakfast was pancakes and eggs, coffee and green tea and was plenty to set us up for a day of sightseeing.

I've been there a few times and stayed at various hotels. We loved the hotel from the moment we arrived. The location is good. The neighborhood itself is quite nice to walk around. Walking distance to the shops & restaurants. The shower has got to be the best hotel shower ever.

The hotel rooms were kept very clean. In room amenities are really impressive. A lot of people came from outside to have breakfast or diner at Prince GH. The hotel has a great location. Public transport is easy to use. I think the price is fair for me to stay.

Family and staff are super friendly and the K2k per day bike hire made getting around easy. The room was beautiful with all you could want in a hotel room. The hotel breakfast buffet in the morning was pretty good. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.
