Location: About 20 minutes drive from Kalaw's downtown. The downside is that this lodge is in the living quarter and not in the hotel or bungalow zone. The view behind SK homie is breathtaking and photographic. The place is also spacious, so friends and family can chill (quietly.) Rooms: Rooms are clean and tidy. There are 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Bathroom upstairs is seperated from bedroom so it is convenient. There is no Aircon and no Wifi! Service: An uncle and aunty tend the lodge. They are unpredictable and are watching you either to help you or stop you. Anything inside the living room cannot be moved outside (like wooden chairs) and if you do, they will come and stop you. And this lodge hosts 6 pax, any additional person will cost you extra charges although the owner said the house accept upto 8 persons with enough facility. Be sure to check before check-in! Cooking: Bring your gas? The gas provided won't be enough (The gas ran out and there was no extra supplies during our stay.) And also expect electricity outage because SK homie does not provide a generator, only Solar energy for a few,not all, room lights. Overview: SK homie is good for those who want to chill quietly especially at night because neighbours seem like they do not like visitors talking loud and music outside at night after 9-10 pm.
