The ambience is very comfortable, a different world in a Burmese neighbourhood. You walk into modernity, a refreshing environment in the cool in contrast to the heat outside. A good place to just drink coffee if not for meals. A place you can entertain guests and talk.
The menu is an assortment of Malay, Chinese, Thai, Italian foods, burgers, etc. No theme.
It serves Malay food such as those eaten in Malaysia and Singapore but localised to Burmese tastebuds. I brought my Burmese guests to try their satay and other dishes. One dish which is the rice and beef set was customised to my guest's wish for turmeric beef. They loved it the moment they tasted the food.
There are also Italian, Western and Chinese dishes. The chef is from Malaysia.
On my return the 2nd time, we ordered medium done Australian beef steak with mushroom soup. The beef steak is good but the soup is not creamy like what we know in western soup.
The price is on the high side as it is located in a neighbourhood that lacks tourists and consumers with spending power.
Return for the 3rd time to try their bolognese spaghetti. Tasty but don't expect Italian or US original. Had an iced latte which is diluted.
