Very nice couple own and manage this hotel. Best in ye. Very convenient to stay if you travel from mawlamein to dawei. Best choice

I stayed for 1 night. The behaviour of staffs were good and they were kind enough. But the service was below average. The room was small, but the bed and curtains are messy. And the bathroom was very dirty. Moreover few bathroom tap and electronics gadgets are not working properly. They need to resolve the problems.

Awesome place to stay in Ye! David, Winny and their daughter Emma are wonderful hosts. The resort is still being finished so don't expect everything to be perfect. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Nice breakfast and selection of meals available. David and Winny will help arrange tours to local attractions. Highly recommend taking a local guide as they will generaly show you more than what you can find on your own and you support a local family by hiring a guide. The beaches are well worth the motorbike adventure to get to. I also recommend a trip to Banana Mountain Monastery. One of the more impressive Buddhist monuments that reach for the sky. If you go in the morning see about joining the morning monastery staff for meal for delicious vegetarian food. There's also a fun trip to a small river where you can take a river boat to a remote swimming location where two rivers meet. You can also visit a Buddhist temple in the same location. Riverside restaurants serves thirst quenching coconuts! Motorcycle rental available. Private car and driver can also be arranged. Starlight resort is by far the best place in the area to stay and the owners do their best to make your stay pleasurably memorable.

David is a great and friendly host! You can ask him everything and they will help you with it. And Winnie is making really delicious meals, all the Thai curries were made from scratch and taste even better than in lots of good Thai places! Our room was really spacious and very clean and fresh, didn’t find many like these in Myanmar yet. And since they just started, I’m sure this place will be even much more beautiful once all the trees and plants have grown more. You can rent scooters at their place as well, with a very detailed list of all the places to visit around and the nice eating places. We would highly recommend it!:)
