★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best places for sunrise. I didn't know about sunrise temple before. When i get there it was very late. There are another temples around it for sunrise. But this temple is a bit higher than the others. It really deserve to go there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately this temple has also been locked up recently. They told us it's because of the safty risks as the temple has become unstable since the last earthquake in 2016.
Someone could still managed to climb it, as the locked door leaves some space open but it's not really worth the effort and risk. There are better options with better views around anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found 3 temples we wanted to come next morning for sunrise and we picked this one as it had the best view - great clearance with a few nice temples further up east that could serve as great background (or foreground depending how you view it). However the sun decided not to show up the next day:(
The vast majority of the temples have been locked up and hopefully this one stays open.
There isn't a lot of space but someone could still manage to bring some merch up there for sale, quite a lot of fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here for Sunrise as the other sunrise spot was very busy. It was a cloudy morning so no good sunrise shots but still worth the visit to look over the plains and all the amazing temples. We were also told how great this spot is for sunset as well. Not sure how long it will be a secret for.
